Ms. Kazuyo Deguchi has 21 years of experience as a financial advisor. She is a CFA® charterholder (*) and manages investment portfolios for her clients. She is also a recipient of the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in the U.S. and Japan separately and holds the First Grade Certified Skilled Worker of Financial Planning (**) designation in Japan.

She grew up in Kyoto and is a graduate of Doshisha University at Kyoto, Japan. Her immediate family lives in Japan. She travels frequently between the U.S. and Japan.  Many of her clients have also come to live in the U.S. from Japan and often times, their family and/or assets are located both in the U.S. as well as in their home country.  Naturally, her areas of interest and experience are U.S.-Japan cross-border financial planning.
