Ms. Kazuyo Deguchi has 17 years of experience as a financial advisor.  She is a recipient of the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation both in the U.S. and Japan and holds the First Grade Certified Skilled Worker of Financial Planning** designation in Japan. She is a graduate of Doshisha University at Kyoto, Japan, and a member of the Financial Planning Association (U.S.) and the Japanese Financial Planning Association.

She grew up in Kyoto, and her immediate family lives in Japan. She travels frequently between the U.S. and Japan.  Many of her clients have also come to live in the U.S. from another country, and often times, their family and/or assets are located both in the U.S. as well as in their home country.  Naturally, her areas of interest and experience are in a cross-border financial planning, especially U.S.-Japan cross-border financial planning.
